IF I GO WILL THEY MISS ME
A short film by Walter Thompson-Hernandez
Official Selection of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival
Join us for a virtual film screening and talk with writer/director and Stanford alum Walter Thompson-Hernandez. IF I GO WILL THEY MISS ME, his first short film, won the 2022 SUNDANCE U.S. Fictional Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. The film highlights a toxic jet fuel dump episode in Southeast Los Angeles to subtly call attention to environmental racism, as well as being a commentary on life itself, and the ability to attempt to fly and pursue our dreams.
