In our community a student took their life. We who remain have needed care from each other. Reeling with the news, feeling confused and unmoored we have sought solace and balance in silence and human company. Taking time to reflect on the suffering and pain in the world on a massive scale and also close to home. Remembering why we are here, what we are willing to live for. Seeing each other. Listening with an open heart. Reaching out to to express appreciation and gratitude. Renewing our will to live and love. Reconnecting with the wonder of our precious human life and the courage to move on.
