I recently did a webinar for the Association for Contemplative Mind in Higher Education, a branch of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society. The link is below. This is the description on their website:
Presented by Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu, Faculty, Health and Human Performance, Stanford University School of Medicine.
Originally broadcast on Friday, May 25th, 2018, 2 pm – 3 pm ET
In this webinar, Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu discusses how the Heartfulness program of mindfulness, compassion, and responsibility, designed for students at Stanford University, develops transformational leadership for self and society.
Webinar participants will understand how integrative learning brings knowledge into one’s life through contrasts and dichotomies such as art and science, tradition and innovation, contemplation and action, acceptance and change, East and West, feminine and masculine, knowing and not knowing, hearts and minds, mastery and mystery.
Stephen will also discuss the design of community building and healing spaces through diverse sources of knowledge, storytelling, embodied practice, and creative expression.
